About Loreign

Fandoms genuinely make some incredible stuff. A show ends or a creator goes quiet, and the fans keep the world going anyway by redrawing it and building whole new AUs out of it.

The thing I kept running into is how scattered it all is. One AU might live on Tumblr and YouTube and AO3 all at once, so unless you already know where to look it’s almost impossible to find. And when I started digging around a bit more, I found way more of them than I expected because they were spread out all over the place.

So I started wondering what it would look like if there was one place that just gathered them. That’s what Loreign is. It puts a fandom’s AUs in one spot and makes them easy to find, and every one links straight back to whoever made it. It’s for the people who make AUs, and the people who just love reading them.

Right now it’s genuinely just me building the catalog by hand, and I started it with The Amazing Digital Circus. The hope is to grow into other fandoms over time, and for the community to slowly make each one its own. So if an AU’s missing or something looks off, just tell me and I’ll fix it.

A few things that really matter to me here.

• I don’t sell your data, and I don’t track you. The stats are cookieless and boring on purpose.
• No ads, no investors. I’m not building this to sell it.
• Any cover you see is the creator’s own image, or just a plain gradient.
• Finding AUs here is free, and always will be.
• Loreign never takes anyone’s work. It points to it and keeps the creator’s name on it. If something’s yours and you want it changed or gone, just ask.

Maybe one day it becomes more than a catalog and grows into something the fandom shapes together. And if that sounds good to you, you’re genuinely welcome to help make it that.

It’s early, and honestly a bit rough in places. If you make AUs, it’s built for you first, so please just tell me what would actually make it useful. And if you just love reading them, you’re absolutely who it’s for too.
